The Management Board of BGS Energy Plus announces that its fully-owned subsidiary Agroprodukt plus a.s. on 23rd August 2010 signed contracts with several individuals for the purchase of 51% voting rights in a co-operative farm Družstvo vlastníků Petrovec (DVP) located in Ovesná Lhota, Czech Republic.
The total contract value is CZK 4 500 000 (EUR 181 000)
DVP operates on 650 Ha which will enable Energy produkt plus s.r.o. (EPP is 100% subsidiary of BGS Energy Plus) to build up the 620kW biogas plant. The capacity for the grid connection is already reserved by EPP and further steps to obtain the building permission have been taken.
BGS Energy Plus and its board members are unrelated to all individuals who sold their voting rights in DVP.
